Achieving your dream makes you happy. But this is when difficulties can start
Naomi Osaka, you’re amazing! 🤩
If you have a big goal that you really want to achieve then you will need to create a lot of energy to achieve it. This energy is very powerful and it will sustain you whilst working towards your goal. You will gain a lot of support from other people and that will help you keep working hard. You will get closer to your dream and if you’re talented enough and you’ve worked hard enough and you’re lucky enough, you will achieve your goal, your dream.
This is a happy story, but, at the same time, the difficulty starts here. We are human beings and as such, we’re programmed to achieve our goals. The kind of energy required to achieve your goals is so high and there needs to be lots of support. Once you’ve achieved your goals, what do you do? How do you hold on to that energy level?
You have to change your goals.
If you have won five titles, does it mean that you need to aim for 10 titles? 20 titles?
You can keep doing what you want to do.
Or, at the same time, you could have another goal in another area of your life. If you have other goals, the energy that comes from pursuing these, should reenergize you. If that doesn’t work, then the only thing left is to take a rest, but this is probably not enough.
Somebody needs to tell Naomi that you don’t have to just do one thing in your life and you have a right to enjoy your life.
That is what I could say from my perspective
